The Western New York Llama Rescue Group seeks to protect and promote the welfare of llamas, alpacas, vicunas, and guanacos, alleviate the pain and suffering of any abused, neglected or abandoned cameild, as well as to act as a voice for animals that cannot speak or fend for themselves. We provide shelter, sustinance and veterinary care for any such animal needing it.  We are also a community outreach and educational resource for schools, Scout groups and new llama and alpaca owners to ensure they have the information necessary to provide proper care for the their animals.

Our group works in concert with local SPCA groups and animal welfare organizations to provide support for their programs. We may be called in to assist with veterinary care, transportation and fostering for cases they are called out on.

We are currently a privately funded group with an application pending for 501(c) 3 tax exempt status.

Please contact us if you need our assistance. We welcome volunteers, aid and help fostering animals while in transition and resources to provide community education and outreach. If you'd like us to visit your group here in WNY to talk about our rescue work, please contact us.
